MicroTCA Power Supply provides 16 Channels

of 12Vout & 3.3Vout with -48VDC Input

At the forefront of open architecture for the TEMS and System Integrators, Ericsson’s ROA Series is a high density, high efficiency power module designed to support MicroTCA applications in both Information and Communication Technology Equipment, specifically edge and access equipment.

The supply has been designed utilizing synchronous rectification and an FPGA-based Enhanced Module Management Controller (EMMC), leveraged by semiconductor and firmware technology previously developed within Ericsson, featuring high efficiency operation of 95% at only half load (typically).  EMMC EMMC uses an Intelligent Platform Management Bus (IPMB) for digital status and control communications with the Carrier Manager.  The 355W power module features a -48 VDC input with 16 channels of 12V payload power and 3.3V management power within a full-size (6HP) single-width package.
